THE FARMIER SIDE OF NOLA

IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

“Through hands on education, we reconnect children with the earth, expose them to healthy food sources and teach them to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We need to teach children different ways to grow food, it’s environmental impacts, and emphasis on humane and compassionate treatment of livestock. We are building a community of THINKERS and teaching the next generation to rise up to meet the new challenges of food production. “ - Sharessa Garland, Executive Director

We book field trips, birthday parties, camps, and corporate retreats.  We have an onsite composting restroom and a picnic area for lunch. On Saturdays we are open from 10 am -3 pm where you can visit with our animals and stop by our farm store. See you at the farm!
